That is a long time! Your photos today are precious!
I am thinking that could be a very good thing for a lot of reasons, but if we humans had that ability it could be put off a long time given certain circumstances!I love seeing the little one as I drive by.
It seems like such a long time to be "expecting"..A Mare must be a much better Mother than me..because I was more than ready at the first opportunity..wait for the weather..not likely:)
