Sky Watch Friday

Yesterday the first half of the day looked a lot like this, in fact these pics where taken just a few hours before  the storm front moved in.

We were all outside working and remarking at how hot it was, then it started getting windy.  We could see some big dark clouds rolling in and it became even more windy and then it started raining.  Pretty soon you could hardly go outside with out getting soaked to the bone.

Today is gray and drizzly, but that could change at any moment.  I love spring!

Mackerel sky, mackerel sky,
Never holds but three days dry.
(or 3 hours)

I don't think this really accounts for mackerel sky but at least a mackerel-ish cloud, Eh?

You did catch yesterday morning perfectly! It was so beautiful and I was all excited about getting down to the harbor and getting some pictures -- needless to say that didn't happen. Couldn't believe how quickly the weather changed. Ah well, spring has been moody this year, up one day and down the next! Funny, I can say the same about me!! Have a great weekend -- regardless of the weather!

Very pretty pictures. Georgia had some much cooler temps and breezy days last week but we are back to hot and humid this week. Hope you have a great weekend.

Wonderful fluffy clouds, had to imagine how fast they change to grey rain clouds. Hope you can outside soon.
