Today's selection was captured early last week before we got our wild Easter weather.
These clouds are cirrus uncinus or mares' tails. They occur often, though we get so much lower cloud cover that we rarely see them. They are of very little significance, they are formed when there is moisture at higher levels that is colder than freezing.

Very pretty pictures. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them float by or trying to make animal shapes from them!

Very pretty! They look kind of like feathers.
I love your mares' tails, ours are more like a feather and I like to call them Angel wings.
